Just for Fun

When I look at my babies, I see two distinct faces.  Sure there are similarities, but I really see there differences.  However, these photos are pretty undeniable!  Here is Greta at nine days old, and Edie Jane at three weeks old.  Both beautiful babies!

Snow Day

A few weeks ago we got a a pile of snow.  Edie was so excited about it, and could not wait to get outside.  Edie and Daddy built a snowman and a snow turtle. She played until her nose was cold and red and then needed some chocolate hot!

Three Weeks Old!

Greta fits perfectly into our family.  We have all adjusted very well, and adore sweet baby sister.  At three weeks Greta has gotten much rounder!  She is getting very strong.  Greta is lifting her head up and looking around, and has a nice strong grip.

Two Weeks Old!

Sweet, sleepy little doll!  At Greta's two week check up she weighed 6lbs, 8oz., and had grown a little longer.  She is doing great and growing well!  Our happy little baby is noticeably more awake and alert.

Greta Kathleen

Greta Kathleen was born at 6:09 A.M. February 1st.  She weighed 6lbs. 11oz., and was 20 in. tall.

Greta's birth went just as planned.  We made arrangements to have Greta at a hospital two hours from home.  We had a doctors appointment on Friday morning, and decided to stick around rather than going back home in the hopes that our little girl would make her arrival.  As it turned out we made the right decision!  We went to the hospital around 11:00 that night, and by 6:09 we had our sweet little girl!  We had not decided on a name, but once we saw her, we knew she was Greta.

Greta is a very sweet baby, and Edie loves her baby sister.
