Greta and I have been working on some school work at home. Somedays are better than others, but overall we both really enjoy it.

First Day of School!

Edie is officially in Kindergarten! She has been very excited about school starting. She even wanted to ride the bus on the first day instead of having me take her to school! So far it is going wonderfully and she absolutely loves it.

Ruby Reavis!!!!!

Sweet Ruby Reavis made her debut August 2! 6lbs, 14 oz. and 20 1/4 in. long. The girls and I headed right on over to meet her. She is truly a beautiful baby. We cannot wait to watch you grow Ruby!

 

4th of July

We had an exciting 4th of July this year, as Edie was chosen as Little Miss 4th of July! Daddy drove this jeep and she had an awesome time riding in the parade!

One Year Later

One year later!

Since closing on our place last year we have: completely remodeled the kitchen, bathroom, smaller bedroom, and basement; put new flooring in the entire house, and painted all the walls. We have repaired the barn roof and built a fence in the front yard. Up next, we plan to demo and remodel the third bedroom which is the last of the major renovation projects.

3rd Annual Big Big Camping Trip

We tried out a new location for our Big, Big Camping trip this year. We camped at Crane Praire Reservoir. The camp site was really nice. We had a lot of room for everyone. The lake was nice while we were on the boat. The reservoir is very shallow keeping the lake a really nice warm temperature for swimming. Unfortunately, beach access for the kids was limited.

We had a fantastic time. The kids all had a blast. Another really fun camping trip with our life long friends.

  

County Fair

Uncle Willie had another great fair this year. As always we really enjoyed hanging out at the fair grounds with Uncle and his pig!

The girls did an amazing job with pee-wee showmanship this year. Edie showed her sheep all by herself and really did a terrific job!
